This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of training in improving students' reporting and writing skills in journalistic articles. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes the learning process applied during the training and its impact on participants' journalistic skills. The results of the study indicate that this training provides a significant increase in the understanding of reporting techniques, critical analysis, and the ability to write interesting and informative articles. Training participants are expected to know how the process of making news starts from searching for data in the field, packaging and compiling news until the news is worthy of being published or published. The method used is an explanation of journalism. To find out how far the level of understanding of the participants is regarding the training provided, a pre-test and post-test are conducted first. The specific targets of this training include fostering students' interest and motivation in the importance of media to accommodate students' creativity and activities in channeling their talents and potential
