The increasing number of sexual harassment cases and children’s exposure to sexually explicit content, both offline and online, has become a serious concern that requires strong parental attention. Empowering parents through education on tarbiyah jinsiyah (Islamic sexual education) is a preventive strategy to safeguard children’s innate sexual disposition from an early age. This community empowerment program was held on 9th September 2025 at Majelis Taklim Purwasari Pajero Village in Bogor. This program aimed to enhance parents’ understanding and skills in applying tarbiyah jinsiyah in everyday parenting practices. The methods used included lectures, interactive discussions based on case studies, and question-and-answer sessions. The results showed that participants gained new knowledge related to the concept of tarbiyah jinsiyah, the importance of cultivating modesty (ḥayya’) from an early age, and simple forms of practice such as protecting children’s aurah (intimate parts) and teaching appropriate behavior according to their developmental stages. High participant engagement was reflected in the emergence of practical questions and requests for personal consultation outside the event. Therefore, education on tarbiyah jinsiyah can serve as an empowering tool for parents in strengthening the role of the family as the first and primary environment in protecting children from deviant sexual behaviors.
