Peer Review

Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and, through editorial communication with authors, can also help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.

Manuscripts submitted online to the Jurnal Sahid Mengabdi will be reviewed by the editors in terms of scope, adherence to the journal's writing guidelines, and plagiarism check. Manuscripts that meet the requirements of Jurnal Sahid Mengabdi will proceed to the review process, which will be evaluated by at least one reviewer under a double-blind system. Reviewers are journal partners who are experts in fields relevant to the journal. The editor will send an email to the selected reviewer containing the manuscript title, content, and an invitation to log into the journal's website to complete the review process. Reviewers will log into the journal's website to approve the review, download the manuscript, provide comments, and submit recommendations. The review process should be completed within a maximum of two weeks. The results will be returned to the author for further action. Accepted manuscripts will be published in Bahasa Indonesia or English.

Timeliness

Any reviewer who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that timely review will not be possible should notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.

Confidentiality

Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They should not be shared or discussed with others unless authorized by the editor.

Standards of Objectivity

Reviews must be conducted objectively. Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Acknowledgment of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument has been previously reported should be accompanied by the appropriate citation. Reviewers should also alert the editor to any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under review and any other published work.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should act objectively and avoid any conflict of interest involving competition, collaboration, or other relationships with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the manuscript.
