Journal Description
Jurnal Kajian Islam Modern is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Sahid Bogor Islamic Institute. The journal publishes original research articles and scholarly studies that focus on contemporary and modern Islamic studies. It aims to disseminate scientific works that critically examine Islamic thought, practices, and institutions in response to social, economic, educational, and communication challenges in modern society. The journal prioritizes analytical and theory-based studies that contribute to the development of Islamic scholarship at the national and international levels.
Focus and Scope
Jurnal Kajian Islam Modern focuses on modern and contemporary Islamic studies using interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches. The journal accepts manuscripts that present original research, critical analysis, and scholarly discussion grounded in Islamic perspectives and relevant theoretical frameworks.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Manuscripts that are purely descriptive, lack theoretical grounding, or are not directly related to Islamic studies in modern contexts will not be considered for publication.
History of the Journal
The Jurnal Kajian Islam Modern has been published in both print and online versions since 2022. The journal is issued four times a year, in March, June, September, and December, and is published by the Sahid Bogor Islamic Institute.
