This study aims to increase public knowledge and understanding of the dangers of plastic waste to the environment. The subject of this research is the people of Gunung Picung village. The results showed that public knowledge about the dangers of plastic waste to the environment is still low. Through this research, it was revealed that outreach to the community and school children is a strategic effort to empower household members and  children to live clean and healty lives so that people can help themselves.
