https://jurnal-inais.id/index.php/EMRR/article/view/805

This study aims to explore students’ perspectives on the function and comfort of campus libraries. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through open-ended questionnaires distributed to students from various academic backgrounds. The findings reveal that students perceive the campus library not only as a place to borrow books but also as a space for independent study, completing assignments, seeking academic references, and even taking short breaks. Aspects of comfort most appreciated by respondents include a quiet atmosphere, air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, and adequate lighting. However, some issues were also raised, such as limited book collections, a shortage of seating during peak hours, and unstable Wi-Fi connections. These findings highlight the important role of libraries in supporting students’ academic activities and the need for continued improvement in both facilities and their function as inclusive academic public spaces.

Keywords: campus library, comfort, function, studentsn
Ratna Triani SuhendarIma RahmawatiAcep Nugraha

https://jurnal-inais.id/index.php/EMRR/article/view/806

This study attempts to understand how library users perceive the quality of library services. Using qualitative methods based on the dimensions of SERVQUAL (Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy). Involving detailed interviews with ten regular users who have different levels of education and frequently visit the library. The information collected was analyzed to find out what users think, what they expect, and how happy they are with the library services. The results showed that users were most positive about the aspects of Assurance and Responsiveness, which indicate that the staff are professional and responsive. However, the aspects of Tangibles and Empathy still need to be improved, such as providing more physical resources and paying attention to what each user needs. This study concludes that to make library services better, libraries can improve their facilities, train staff regularly, and offer more flexible service hours. This study is important to improve library services based on what users want and can help create policies for quality information services in schools.

Keywords: Library services, User satisfaction, Qualitative, SERVQUAL, Quality evaluation
Muhamad Alwi MuwaffiqIma RahmawatiMuhamad Robie Awaludin

https://jurnal-inais.id/index.php/EMRR/article/view/812

This article discusses the importance of madrasah library management in supporting the improvement of education quality in Indonesia, especially in the context of the Independent Curriculum. Based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, libraries are seen as crucial pillars for the holistic development of student potential. In the era of the Independent Curriculum, the role of madrasah libraries has transformed from merely a place to store books to a dynamic center of information and knowledge, functioning as a source of diverse literacy, an inclusive self-development space, and a strategic partner in character formation. Pancasila Student Profile, Case study at MTs Al-Falah Cibungbulang, Bogor, highlights the initial implementation of library management strategies in facing these challenges. This madrasah formulated a new vision for the library, rearranged the space, enriched the collection with limited funds and donations, and launched a simple literacy program assisted by KKN student volunteers. This study concludes that professional and adaptive library management is essential to support the vision of national education and the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum.
SapariIma RahmawatiMuhamad Robie Awaludin
